Apple is manufacturing a Siri speaker
The iPhone giant has begun manufacturing a Siri smart speaker with a possible release this year
Apple is reportedly developing a Siri speaker as it has been announced it is in its manufacturing stage.
According to Bloomberg, people close to the matter revealed that the iPhone giant has begun manufacturing a Siri smart speaker but it will not be available until later in the year.
It is believed that the full announcement may come during Apple's developer conference WWDC in June.
The Siri speaker is joining the likes of Google and Amazon as both companies have released similar products; Google Home and Echo.
According to Bloomberg, Apple's focus on ‘virtual surround sound technology and deep integration with Apple's product line-up'. This could see Apple Music and HomeKit features playing a vital role within the speaker. The report also claims that it may include ‘sensors that measure a room's acoustics and automatically adjust audio levels during use'.
Apple's WWDC event will begin Monday 5th June in California.
