Epicor unveils latest update to its ERP at Insights 2017
The latest version’s improvements include a new data analytics package and global financial and compliance capabilities.
Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of enterprise software, has unveiled the latest update of Epicor ERP.
Unveiled during Insights 2017, which ran from 22 -25 May, the latest release introduces several new features, which includes a data analytics package and global financial and compliance capabilities.
Scott Hays, senior vice president, product marketing, Epicor, said: "With margins for products eroding, customer demands increasing, and an uncertain and somewhat unstable global economy, manufacturers need to use technology to increase their business agility, and enable strategic decision-making."
"Designed to support how people work, today and in the future, Epicor ERP helps businesses make the most of technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data and analytics, social collaboration, mobility and additive manufacturing."
Other new features of Epicor ERP include a new dedicated tenancy cloud option, tools for improving productivity in front and back-end processes, which includes a new 2D Design Visualization Tool, as well as new resources streamline upgrades and support training.
