Instagram hits 63 million users in the MENA region
Photo sharing app doubles in size in past two years
Photo sharing app Instagram now has over 700m users worldwide, including 63m in the MENA region.
The last 100m of the number of global users reportedly joined "faster than ever", according to Instagram.
The social media platform said it has made it easier for people to join the Instagram community through new features.
These include stories, live video and disappearing messages in Direct, providing users more ways to express themselves.
Instagram, which launched in 2010, has doubled in size in the past two years. Growth is believed to have been driven by the app's improved sign-up process among other factors.
