Deadline for .GOV Awards extended til end of week
Government organisations have until the end of the week to nominate for the .GOV Awards.

The deadline for the .GOV Awards for Dubai & Northern Emirates has been extended until 27th April, due to popular demand.

Government organisations have until the end of this week to nominate themselves for the awards, which recognise achievement in smart government, innovation and public sector utilisation of ICT.

The awards for Dubai & Northern Emirates will be presented at a gala dinner on 15th of May. Nominations can be made online, at the awards website, https://www.itp.net/dotgov-dubai-awards

Now in their third year, the .GOV Awards honour smart government and government achievements in information technology and innovation. Sixteen awards will be presented in total, with categories for IT projects, services, IT teams, individual achievements and innovation.

The award categories are:

CSR PROJECT OF THE YEAR

GREEN IT INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR

GOVERNMENT IT APPLICATION PROJECT OF THE YEAR

GOVERNMENT IT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT OF THE YEAR

DUBAI GOVERNMENT IT DEPARTMENT OF THE YEAR

NORTHERN EMIRATES GOVERNMENT IT DEPARTMENT OF THE YEAR

YOUNG GOVERNMENT IT PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

GOVERNMENT IT LEADER OF THE YEAR
