Huawei to host Safe City Summit
Huawei's Global Safe City Summit will highlight the latest technology in public safety.

Huawei will host its Global Safe City Summit in Dubai on 26-27th April to promote the benefits of new technology in public safety solutions.

The Summit, which is being held under the theme of ‘Leading New ICT, The Road to Collaborative Public Safety' will focus on the trends and challenges of digital transformation within the public safety industry.

The event will also stress the importance of collaboration to be able to address shifting security threats, and the need for collaborative models and technology in public safety systems.

As part of the summit, Huawei will launch its new collaborative public safety solution, which combines technologies including cloud, IoT, mobility, big data and Software-Defined Networking to enable efficient collaboration between authorities and the public. In addition, Huawei will release the first video cloud solution featuring an all-cloud architecture and matrix intelligence, as well as a crisis and disaster management solution.

The event will also feature demonstrations with Huawei partners of solutions for Safe City including video cloud, convergent eLTE broadband trunking, deep-learning smart video analysis, law enforcement Big Data, and next-generation converged command system.
