RAKBANK launches digital banking platform
RAKBANK Beyond brings improved security features and real-time transaction processing to the fingertips of end-users.
The National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah (RAKBANK) has announced that it is launching a new banking platform called RAKBANK Beyond.
Built upon the bank's existing online and mobile banking platforms, RAKBANk Beyond features improved security features, as well as real-time transaction processing.
According a recent survey that collated responses from 1,000 UAE-based residents, which was sponsored by RAKBANK and conducted by YouGov, respondents ranked security as the number one concern when it came to digital banking.
The survey also found that 73% of respondents prefer to utilise a single username and password for both mobile and online banking platforms. To that end, RAKBANK has ensured that customer' account can be accessed regardless of the mobile device used.
Finally, the YouGov survey reported that 69% utilise digital banking to check balances, while 64% use digital banking to pay their bills. RAKBANK Beyond's capabilities include multiple bill payments management, as well as a thumbprint scanner security feature on the iPhone to access and check balances.
