StarLink hails annual Partner Summit 2017 a success
VAD moves to empower resellers on their journey towards growth and profitability
StarLink, an IT security specialised value-added distributor (VAD), has said its recently heldd annual Partner Summit at the Armani Hotel at Burj Khalifa on March was a success.
The partner summit, which was held under the theme "Partnering for Success", saw over 200 channel partners from across Middle East, North Africa and Turkey attend.
At the event, resellers had the opportunity to engage and network with participating vendors that comprised LogRhythm, Arbor, Ixia, MobileIron, Palo Alto Networks and Centrify.
The vendor presentations were highly informative, providing various product updates and insight into channel partner programmes, in an effort to ensure that the channel is well equipped with essential sales and marketing tools, to drive their business objectives.
Nidal Othman, managing director, StarLink, said that: "StarLink has always been dedicated to its channel partners, and in 2017, the company will continue to stay committed and loyal by supporting them with resources, cutting-edge technologies and programmes to help them achieve autonomy. "Our 2017 partner strategy surrounds the concept of 5Cs which translates to "cash margin, communication, commitment, create value and competitive".
Othman added that the turnout at the event was a reaffirmation of the trust and faith partners have placed upon StarLink. "We will do everything possible to live up to their expectations," he said.
One of the key highlights of the event was the 2017 Partner Appreciation Awards, were the VAD handed out seven awards to top performing partners.
