Compareit4me adds health insurance comparison platform
The platform allows UAE-based users to compare and buy health plans online and in real-time.
UAE-based comparei4me.com, a comparison site, has announced the launch of a real-time, automated, online health insurance comparison platform.
In addition to the initial panel of insurers offering a range of health plans, the platform also has the capability of providing quotes for any buyer. From those looking for the highest level of coverage, for themselves and their families, to more affordable plans, compreit4me.com's platform caters to all.
Jon Richards, CEO of compareit4me.com, commented: "That technology helped us build out the UAE's first truly automated car insurance comparison platform. Now, we've expanded its capabilities so that users can compare live prices for health insurance plans in real-time - given how much additional information is required to produce a health insurance quote, the technology behind the platform is orders of magnitude more powerful."
"What's fantastic about the system, though, is that, to the user, none of the complexity is apparent. To compare quotes, you simply need to fill in the online forms, and the platform will return the kinds of policies you're looking for - whether that's for yourself, your family, or your employees."
The announcement arrives ahead of the Dubai government's deadline of 31 March, 2017, where employers and sponsors in the emirate must provide health insurance to those registered on their visas.
Jonathan Rawling, CFO of compareit4me.com, said: "If you own a company with fewer than 10 employees, or if you simply privately employ a maid or driver in Dubai, this deadline affects you. You need to get your staff covered before the deadline, or you'll be subject to fines.
"Our new health insurance comparison platform takes the stress out of meeting that deadline. Fill in the forms, provide the documents we need, and we can arrange coverage for your staff for as little as AED 650 per year - about as much as you'll be fined every month for not having your staff covered. It just makes sense to ensure you meet the deadline, and we expect the new comparison service will be invaluable to those who sponsor staff in the UAE."
