ITWORX Education, a education services provider, was recently recognised at the 4th annual Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Awards in Dubai.
The company's Winjigo platform won the Innovation Product Award within the event's e-learning category. ITWORX Education's platform was recognised for its successful adoption at a Syrian refugee camp in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.
The WinjiGo social learning platform's features include gamified learning content, course assessment and planning, virtual classrooms, as well as access to social communities. Based on a blended learning model, the platform combines digital content and smart technology-powered learning.
Hatem Sallam, CEO of ITWORX Education, said: "It is an honor to win GESS's highly regarded Innovation Product Award, which is not only a testament to the power and versatility of the ‘WinjiGo' platform, but also pays homage to ITWORX Education's unwavering commitment to push boundaries and bring continuous progress to the e-learning arena in the region as well as across the globe.
"Thanks to a setup process that doesn't require significant additional investments such as building schools, or time-consuming tasks such as waiting for skilled teachers, the project's implementation is fast and streamlined, and can take place whenever and wherever it may be needed, extending WinjiGo's competence to serve previously unexplored territories."
The awards, which was held at the H Hotel in Dubai, followed the 10th Global Education and Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Exhibition and Conference.
