Schneider Electric unveils latest update of DTN TIMS platform
The latest enhancements focused solely on priority issues and actionable items for improved decision-making
Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, has released the latest version of its Terminal Inventory Management System (TIMS).
Known as DTN TIMS, the platform introduces new capabilities on managing high priority action items.
Now mobile-enabled, the platform allows users to receive and share critical data, while on the move, and can also be customised to which alerts and messages should be prioritised and by which medium — whether SMS text or email message.
DTN TIMS boasts easier access for end-users to connect with their inventory balances and view transactions in real-time.
Granting visibility over their accounts, this handy feature gives end-users the ability to make key decision, while on the go, and even allows them to share data quickly, ensuring all relevant parties stay updated on the status of active projects.
A globally recognised name within the energy management and automation field, Schneider Electric reported revenues of over $30bn in 2015.
With over 160,000 employees active in over 100 countries, the company develops numerous technologies geared towards safety, efficiency and sustainability. Its product portfolio range from simple switches to complex operating systems, encompassing both hardware and software technologies.
