Centrify strengthens mobile security portfolio in the Middle East
The company has joined AppConfig.org and expanded its support for Windows-based endpoints.
Centrify, a provider of security platforms for hybrid enterprises, has expanded its mobile security offerings in the Middle East.
This included expanded support for Windows endpoints, as well as the company's joining with AppConfig.org, an international body of enterprise mobility management technology providers.
By joining the global community under AppConfig.org, Centrify is not only part of a whole network of developers focused on improving the security of application, but also introduces adds new capabilities to its arsenal, centred on streamlining app and device provisioning, providing more device choices and extending IT security policy.
The features are further additions to the company's identity support for Mac, iOS, Linux and Android endpoints. It also includes Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) support for Linux, Windows login and privilege elevation, which when combined with the company's Analytics Service, utilises machine learning to evaluate risk based on user behaviour.
