Sony Mobile hosts 'Cinema under the Stars'
Over a 1,000 labourers from the Al Quoz labour camp were treated to the screening of Sultan.
Sony Mobile Communications, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Corporation, recently organised a Cinema under the Stars experience of more than 1,000 labourers at the Al Quoz camp in Dubai. In addition to experience the complete outdoor cinema experience, the labourers, who have been active across numerous projects across the emirate, were given T-shirts and mats as giveways, along with complimentary snacks and juices.Organised in association with Urban Bedou, a Dubai-based events manager, the Al Quoz labour camp were treated to the screening of Sultan. Feedback from the event was largely positive with labourers expressing their appreciation of an activity that many others take for granted. Cinema under the Stars is the latest initiative from Sony Mobile's activities within the various social and cultural activities across UAE's diverse communities.
Commenting on the experience, Gita Ghaemmaghami, regional marketing communications manager, Middle East and Africa, Sony Mobile shared: "We are very pleased to have been able to spread cheer and excitement among the hard working and committed labourers at Al Quoz camp.
