Axis makes new appointment in oil and gas division
Meraj Khan to spearhead business development in key energy, critical infrastructure sector
Axis Communications, provider of network video solutions, has announced the appointment of Meraj Khan as regional business development for oil & gas and critical infrastructure for Middle East & Africa.
Prior to joining Axis, Meraj held diverse positions with a rich experience in business development, technical sales, product management, project management and, key account management of integrated Telecom & Security System solutions for Oil & Gas and large infrastructure projects across the Middle East.

In his last assignment, Meraj worked as a Project Management Consultant for SNC Lavalin Inc., a prominent Engineering and Project Management Consultant for Oil & Gas sector. His primary role was to assist major Oil & Gas Companies in the design and engineering of Telecom and Security solutions for various on-shore and off-shore projects across the Middle East. Previously, he worked as a Business Development Manager with L&T Electrical & Automation FZE, a business unit of major EPC giant Larsen & Tubro Ltd., with regional responsibilities for the company’s integrated Telecom & Security System solutions offering for Oil & Gas and mega infrastructure projects in the Middle East and North Africa region.
