CEFE deploying Sage X3 to manage operations
Construction group selects suite of Sage solutions to handle financials and operations
Construction and logistics company CEFE Group International is deploying a set of applications from Sage to manage its financial systems.
The company, which has a large portfolio of operations across the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan, is rolling out Sage X3, Sage X3 People, and Sage X3 for Construction, to replace two existing accounting and operations applications.
Sage partner Sharaf Computers and Software Trading LLC (SCST) is implementing the solution.
Due to the size and geographic spread of the organisation, CEFE Group International had been relying on two separate accounting and operation systems. The functioning of the two different systems resulted in inefficiency across the group's business operations, and reconciliation between the two systems would have proven time consuming and complex. CEFE Group International sought an integrated business management solution to centralize and streamline its business operations to improve accountability, transparency, and operational control. Further, CEFE Group International had only recently ventured into the construction sector, and the existing system could not manage the company's estimates, project milestones, and project based procurement management.

Sage X3 was selected for its ability to match the specific processes of CEFE Group International such as configurable fields and workflows, support for multiple languages and legislation. The functionalities of Sage X3 Construction provide added value acting as a pull factor for the selection of the solutions package. The solutions also offer the flexibility of being web-based, and the tailored capabilities for vertical function and sector.
