Buzinessware signs on with Acronis to deliver BaaS
The two companies will focus their efforts towards the UAE’s small-to-medium enterprise market.
Buzinessware, a Middle East hosting company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Acronis, a data protection specialist firm.
The new alliance will see both companies collaborate to deliver backup-as-a-service (BaaS) for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE.
Sajid Mulla, CEO, Buzinessware, commented: "Our partnership with Acronis can greatly contribute to our efforts to expand Buzinessware's offering to businesses by going beyond securing website and critical data, to files and applications on multi-system environments.
"This web-based service will allow customers to securely back up their most important files to our data centres based in Dubai, giving them peace of mind."
According to Buzinessware, enterprise backup a constant challenge within the SMEs space for over 10 years. Issues have ranged from optimising performance, managing media, troubleshooting failures, as well as meeting backup windows. Often this results in high operational overhead that doesn't deliver a clear competitive advantage.
The new offering by both Buzinessware and Acronis will look to protect mission-critical systems, whether it be physical, virtual, or in the cloud.
"At Buzinessware, our chief goal is to help businesses replicate its entire systems and storage and install Acronis software in our Middle East Cloud data centres. In case of an outage, we will restart your servers locally until you have safely backed up your system," added Mulla.
"Whether you need to recover a single file, a database, or an entire server--it is as easy as a push-of- a-button. Our BaaS ensures that your business stays in business by providing a flexible, pay-as- you-go service," he concluded.
