Pure Storage strengthens collaboration with Cisco
The two companies are working together to improve Pure Storage’s FlashStack Converged Infrastructure portfolio.
Pure Storage has announced that it is working closely with its partner Cisco to expand its FlashStack Converged Infrastructure Solution. The consolidation platform, which is designed for diverse IT workloads, makes it easier for end-users to deploy, expand and maintain FlashStack's offerings.
Commenting on the announcement, Satinder Sethi, VP, Data Center and Cloud Solutions, Cisco, shared: "As organisations embrace digitisation, data centres must enable agile, highly secure and more efficient application delivery with rapid access to information."

The platform combines both Cisco's Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS) and Pure Storage's storage along with mission-critical and business-critical applications.
Serving as a modular and scalable solution, FlashStack can in larger configurations, include Cisco Nexus, as well as MDS Series Switches. Furthermore, the latest to the FlashStack family includes the FlashStack mini, which combines FlashArray//m10 with the Cisco UCS Mini compute and fabric interconnect hardware, with virtualization software from VMware or Microsoft.
