Smart Dubai highlights smart city accomplishments
Smart Dubai showcased additional applications which now feature in DubaiNow platform and the Dubai Data initiative
THE SMART DUBAI Office showcased an array of smart city experiences at GITEX Technology Week 2016.
In addition, Smart Dubai unveiled the latest updates to the Happiness Agenda, to which the Smart Dubai Government Establishment highlighted enhancements to the Happiness Meter service, which is in line with the "Measure" portfolio of the happiness agenda.
Smart Dubai also showcased additional applications which now feature in DubaiNow platform and the Dubai Data initiative, which aims to share city data across the public and private sectors.
It also presented Saad, a service that relies on artificial intelligence to provide a reliable answer to those who want to start commercial activities in Dubai or invest in projects.
H.E. Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr, Director General of Smart Dubai Office, said: "We are continually committed to exploring and adopting the latest technology innovation towards to enhance city experiences. We believe that technology is the means to achieve the ultimate goal of a smart city - people's happiness -- and we take this as a great responsibility and a privilege."
The pavilion united 55 partners and strategic sponsors from the government and private sectors to highlight over 300 smart city solutions that are improving experiences for Dubai residents.
