Emirates NBD brings robotics to the door
Designed by SoftBank Robotics, Pepper, a humanoid robot, will interact with customers and aid in delivering business services.
Emirates NBD and YAS Digital Media have partnered to introduce a humanoid robot across some of the bank's UAE branch network.
Pepper, a humanoid robot designed by SoftBank Robotics, is designed to engage customers, while also delivering business services. Integrating the bank's live systems, Pepper is also connected to the government's e-service Dubai Happiness Meter.
Pedro Cardoso, Head of Multichannel and CRM at Emirates NBD, said "Pepper is a core customer engagement tool that makes retail banking easier, more convenient and more dynamic.

We've been working in close partnership with teams in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Milan (Italy) for over three months to perfect Pepper by customising him for our client Emirates NBD.
