Dubai Technology Partners (DTP), the preferred aviation partner of SAP MENA, is demonstrating the potential of SAP’s HANA in-memory computing system to improve management of airport facilities.

DTP is trialling a solution based on SAP HANA, the ‘airport performance monitoring solution’, which will help to manage the complexities of aviation operations. DTP’s managing director, Abdul Razzak Mikati, points out that factors such as weather can seriously impact on operations at airports.

“They can really strain resource deployment across the entire facility,” he says.

Tayfun Topkac, managing director, SAP UAE, says that SAP HANA will help to deliver business relevant visual information in real time, to give airport management instant insight into operations.
