Panasonic rolls out BallonCam at GITEX 2016

At GITEX Technology Week 2016, Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa (PMMAF) is introducing a number of novel business technologies to the GCC region. From its stand, the tech specialist is unveiling for the first time a number of systems, which includes BalloonCam, a prototype of a drone system developed combining a drone with a large balloon.

Panasonic is also highlighting its latest transparent display, windows AR projection, video wall, and its multiple video streaming system. The company is also showcasing a wide-range of visual platforms, which includes the PT-RZ31 projector and Open Port Flat Panel, as well as communication solutions, such as video intercoms.

“As, the Middle East is at the forefront of adopting the latest innovations, Panasonic is committed to driving the regions smart digital future, with products and solutions, including supporting the startup eco system, of any size or scale of projects,” said Shinichi Wakita, managing director, PMMAF.

“We are displaying a plethora of innovative display solutions, which will be a boon to many industry verticals. The BalloonCamTM drone type camera is making its appearance for the first time outside of Japan and is something to look forward to. I am sure our customers will be amazed by the whole line up as we continue to contribute to ‘A Better Life, A Better World’,” he added.
