Kodak Alaris tackles ‘data chaos’
Kodak Alaris says it is highlighting how it can solve Middle East organisations’ information management challenges
Information Management solutions maker, Kodak Alaris says it is highlighting how it can solve Middle East organisations’ information management challenges during GITEX Technology Week 2016.
The vendor is exhibiting at this year’s show under the theme “Digitise your City”, and showcasing its latest solutions for reigning in “data chaos” to enable core business functions – from marketing to logistics to finance - to reduce costs and improve overall results.
The company says it’s also promoting document and information management solutions for government, healthcare and business process outsourcing (BPO) sectors.
“Organisations today are managing data from more sources, and increasingly the nature of this data is unstructured leading to what we call ‘data chaos’,” says David Whitton, regional sales director, Middle East and Africa (MEA) at Kodak Alaris.
Whitton says digital transformation presents a clear roadmap to address these challenges. “Done right, it will optimise critical business processes by enabling rapid analysis of data. This in turn can result in increased top-line profits and a distinct competitive edge,” he says.
Kodak Alaris will use GITEX to unveil innovative solutions such as the Kodak i5850S Scanner, its new high-volume production scanner that offers three-pocket sorting capabilities, designed for the extreme scanning demands of service bureaus, business process outsourcing (BPO) organisations and corporate scanning departments.
