Intracom Telecom, a global telecom systems and solutions vendor, has come to GITEX Technology Week through its Dubai-based subsidiary, Intracom Middle East to promote intelligent smart city infrastructure.

The vendor says throughout the exhibition, it is promoting newly introduced Intracom smart metering and energy management solutions for automated data reading and processing of electricity, gas and heat, which can be enhanced with energy portals and smartphone applications.

In addition, it is using its participating at GITEX to showcase the complete revenue management, customer management and energy analytics stack that leverages the company’s strong heritage in the O/BSS field.

The vendor adds that it is also presenting to partners, end user customers and visitors to the show its end-to-end enablement and monetisation platform specifically crafted for the Internet of Things (IoT) era.

Intracom’s NGINius suite enables service providers to maximise revenue and efficiently control applications in diverse IoT domains, while supporting the full spectrum of business models.

The vendor says visitors to its stand will also be able to see its innovations in the software defined networks (SDN) and network function virtualisation (NFV) areas, showcasing how it empowers service providers in the region to achieve intelligent orchestration and smooth migration of complex networks to the NFV paradigm.
