Preparations for Red Hat Innovation Awards underway
Nominations are now open for all Red Hat partners and customers. Winners will be recognised at Red Hat Summit 2017.
Red Hat, a global provider of open source technologies, has announced it is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Red Hat Innovation Awards
Since its inception back in 2007, the Red Hat Innovation Awards have recognised successful transformation projects undertaken by Red Hat's global customers and partners, utilising the company's open source technologies.
The awards are organised into five categories: Enterprise Transformation, DevOps Implementation, Cloud Infrastructure, Application Optimisation and the Open Source Way.
Marco Bill Peter, vice president, Customer Experience and Engagement, Red Hat, shared: "Red Hat customers and partners are the driving force behind our success. It's an honour every year to recognise companies using Red Hat technology in creative and exciting ways to help advance or transform their businesses, solve complex challenges, and meet customer needs."
Submissions will remain open until 9 November 2016, and will be evaluated by a panel of business and open source technology experts.
These include Ashesh Badani, vice president and general manager, OpenShift; Swapnil Bhartiya, journalist, IDG Contributor Network; Marco Bill-Peter, vice president, Customer Experience and Engagement, to name a few.
Winners of the awards will be announced at the 2017 Red Hat Summit, which is expected to be held in Boston, Massachusetts.
