FAMOCO, the provider of Android transactional devices, has announced the release of FX200 and FX300 devices which will be unveiled during GITEX Technology Week.

The FX200 is equipped with a 4.5" screen suited to those who use advanced applications and handle significant amounts of data, whilst the FX300 is a ruggedised device with an integrated barcode scanner, plus both are designed to complement the existing FX100+.

Lionel Baraban, co-founder and CEO, FAMOCO, said: "Our primary focus is to offer a solution for businesses to digitalise their transactions securely. Following the success of the FX100+ device, we have extended our hardware range to meet more advanced needs in all markets from field services to transportation."

The FX200 features a high-quality display with front and back autofocus cameras, plus the slim design makes it lightweight at 137g. Other features include NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, 2G and 3G connections, plus a Secure Access Module to protect sensitive data.

The FX300 has been designed for continuous use by field workers due to its easy grip and despite weighing 260g, it is lightweight for its category. The device is adapted to the logistics market and transportation industry and has been chosen by a European rail network to equip controllers.

Both the FX200 and FX300 run FAMOCO's secure version of Android that is controlled remotely through the FAMOCO Management Suite.

GITEX will run from 16-20 October 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
