Wassa, a company specialised in digital technologies, has announced its participation at the upcoming GITEX Technology Week, which is set to run from 16 - 20 October, 2016.

The company will present its range of its detection and recognition platforms, which includes Deeplytics for face identification and Visioblur for professional video conferences.

Deeplytics is a software component designed to identify users on a digital platform by utilising a local camera. Using a pre-created profile as a base, the software compares an active user to the existing profile, and through new detection methods is able to identify if it's the same user.

Capable of being embedded in every major platform and every type of device, desktop and mobile operating system, Deeplytics adapts automatically to its environment, as well as to any available cameras. It also works both online and offline.

Designed for professional video conferences, Visioblur detects faces and follows their movement around the room, all the while remaining clear. Meanwhile, the rest of the environment in background is blurred.

The platform can incorporated into the company's whole range of video conference tools, and currently works on computers with Windows OS and OSX. It also compatible with common VOIP tools, such as Skype, Webex and Hangout.

Elsa Bonnet, business manager, Wassa, shared: "Wassa is currently willing to set up a sales channel in the Middle East and is seeking for partners to distribute and/or integrate Wassa's solutions."
