The biggest event in Huawei's history begins tomorrow in Shanghai, China.

HUAWEI CONNECT combines three previously separate events, Huawei's Cloud Congress, Network Congress, and Developer's Congress into a single massive event, with over 15,000 industry leaders expected to attend.

Huawei says CONNECT will showcase the latest technologies intended to help industries go All Cloud.

Four tech zones will be spread over 18,000m2 in three venues: Shanghai Expo Centre, Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena, and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Major focus areas will be on Cloud, big data, IoT, and SDN. New breakthroughs and best practices are the focus, Huawei says.

For Middle East Huawei customers, topics that will feature heavily such as IoT and Smart Cities will be of keen interest.

Also on the cards are more than more than 1,000 tech sessions, the result of HUAWEI CONNECT bringing together developers from across the globe. Hands-on labs will explore how organisations can achieve digital transformation and a smart society, the company says.

Together with Huawei, Intel, Infosys, and SAP are among 80+ partners who will be showcasing how ICT is enabling digital transformation.
