Thales, cyber-security and data protection company, has formed a technical partnership with Williams, a Formula One team advanced engineering company.

As part of the agreement, Thales will deliver cybersecurity solutions for real-time global telemetry transitions to both Williams Martini Racing and Williams Advanced Engineering, which is the engineering services and technology division of Williams.

Thales designs, develops and operates critical information systems supported by its 2,000 cybersecurity experts and data protection and digital trust management solutions, protecting mission critical data anywhere data resides, which is crucial for Formula One. Thales Datacryptor 5000 delivers high speed data protection and low latency to ensure high assurance, real-time global telemetry transmission from the pit lane back to Williams' headquarters.
