Lenovo launches HadiaTime during Ramadan
Lenovo provides data to those less fortunate when HadiaTime users lock their smartphones
Lenovo Smartphones has unveiled HadiaTime, an app that encouraged families to spend time together during the Holy Month.
The Android-based application works when a user locks their smartphone from 7pm until 10pm to spend time with their family, and in the meantime Lenovo will donate the data spared to less fortunate people who wish to connect with their families.
According to a study by Connected Life, mobile users in the UAE spend an average of five hours a day on social media applications.
Sharay Shams, general manager for smartphones Middle East, Lenovo stated: "At Lenovo, we are committed to making people's lives better through our innovative products. This Ramadan we are keen to bring the spirit of Ramadan to those who wish to connect with their loved ones."
"For some, phones are the only way they can communicate and spend time with their families who are living abroad, but unfortunately certain factors, including high expenses, prevent them from doing so," he added.
The application which can be downloaded for free from Google Play on any Android smartphone is now running until the last day of Ramadan.
