Motorola unveils Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus
After many leaks, rumours and speculations, the new Moto G smartphones are here
Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced the arrival of two new smartphones, the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.
Both handsets share the 5.5-inch 1080p display, as well as the Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 graphics and a 3,000mAh battery for faster charging. Both handsets also run on Android Marshmallow with Moto Display and Moto Actions enhancements, plus storage options include 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, while RAM can be increased from 2GB to 4GB.
The similarities end when it comes down to security and the quality of the camera. The Moto G4 Plus features a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button and the camera resolution is 16-megapixel and features laser focus and phase-detect auto-focus.
The Moto G4 has a 13-megapixel camera and no biometric security function.
Motorola's idea is that these new editions combine high-end performance features with a premium-looking design, however at a budget-conscious price.
Motorola has not yet confirmed when the handsets will be released in the UAE or what the price may be.
