Dubai and Hamburg to focus on smart city collaboration
The Dubai-Hamburg Business Forum will take place on 22nd March.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has released a study on collaboration opportunities for smart cities between Dubai and Hamburg.

The report, which has been releases as part of the fifth Dubai-Hamburg Business Forum, highlights areas for co-operation between the public sector and business communities of Dubai and Hamburg in the area of smart urban living.

The study focuses areas such as improved online government services for greater productivity and efficiency; the expected adoption of cloud computing in the region; Internet of Things potential and Dubai's smart city plans

Dubai-Hamburg Business Forum, which is being held with the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, will take place on 22nd March at the DCCI headquarters. The Hamburg Metropolitan Region is one of Germany's strongest economic regions and a central trading hub for Northern Europe, with major activities in aviation, logistics, IT, renewable energies and media.

The event is held under the theme, ‘Internet of Things: Innovation to Connect', and is intended to encourage cooperation and joint ventures in four important sectors including Public Sector Solutions for Smart Urban Living, Logistics, Health and Energy.
