Evanssion signed as an Avi Networks distributor
Kalliyat says Evanssion is delighted to work with Avi Networks to deliver unprecedented agility in application delivery and insights into application performance.

Regional VAD Evanssion, has signed a distribution agreement with Avi Networks, a provider of application delivery controllers (ADCs).

The partnership enables Evanssion to broaden its product offerings in its strategic pillars of cloud transformation and security. Evanssion will now provide enterprise customers from across the region with software defined application services while enabling them to accelerate application delivery on-premises or in the cloud with services including application visibility and analytics, microsegmentation, autoscaling and self-service for app developers.

In addition, the distributor will provide pre-sales, sales, vendor accredited trainings, lead generation support, and a vendor support team for resellers and end customers.

The two companies committed to working together towards building a "centre of excellence" in Dubai that will act as a proof-of-concept (PoC) and demo centre for customers and will also be utilised to conduct partner trainings.

"We are thrilled to partner with Evanssion to expand our operations and our VIP channel partner base across the Middle East," said Dirk Marichal, VP of EMEA and India at Avi Networks.

Marichal added that: "Evanssion's business expertise, customer relationships, and technical knowledge in cloud and security makes this an ideal partnership for Avi Networks to introduce the most advanced application services offering in the industry to enterprises across all verticals. This partnership will help organisations in the entire region gain superior insights into their applications and deliver automation and self-service IT while reducing their overall costs."

The vendor wants to use its Avi Vantage Platform to deliver elastic, application-centric services beyond load balancing without the inflexibility, overprovisioning, and overspending that is characteristic of appliance based application delivery controllers.

"Avi Networks brings a sophisticated solution to the ADC market which has been quiet for a long time when it comes to innovation. We are excited to be working with Avi Networks to deliver unprecedented agility in application delivery and insights into application performance and security for private and public cloud environments," said Dilip Kalliyat, president of Evanssion. "Forward-looking enterprises see the need to drive automation and self-service for application services in the face of multi-cloud networks. With the Avi Vantage Platform, customers will be able to speed up time-to-market for critical applications, lower TCO, and dramatically improve IT services for lines of business."
