Mobily trains 2,800 staff to develop human resource
Telco conducts wide range of training to build staff skills and ability
Mobily has announced that it has conducted training courses for over two thousand and eight hundred employees, across a wide range of disciplines.
The various training and development programs have been conducted with the aim of developing and further strengthening the telco's human resource, the company said.
Programs have included customized training courses based on the training needs of individual departments, electronic courses, knowledge sharing workshops and training based on the Doroob initiative by Ministry of Labour, which offers a range of workplace skills training such as computing skills, communications and language related skills via an online portal.
Melfi Al Marzoqi, senior executive officer HR Center of Excellence for Mobily said: "Mobily considers its staff to be the centre piece of its strategy and growth objectives; we aim to help our employees achieve their career objectives and at the same time develop skills which will help them perform their duties better. Mobily also provides support to employees wishing to complete their higher studies and offers special programs for staff to learn English. Mobily provides various interactive online training programs which enable employees to choose relevant courses that can be scheduled as per their requirements.
