Three new unit heads for Ericsson MEA
Ericsson appoints three new Customer Unit heads
Ericsson has appointed three new heads for its Customer Units for the Middle East and East Africa region.
Helen Henriksson has been appointed as Ericsson's Head of Customer Unit Egypt; Mathias Johansson becomes Head of Customer Unit East Africa; while Petter Järtby is now Ericsson's Head of Global Customer Unit Etisalat.
As members of Ericsson's Leadership Team within Region Middle East and East Africa, the new Heads of Customer Units will be responsible to drive Ericsson's business within the assigned customer unit.
The company also announced that its Customer Unit for North East Africa is now the Customer Unit East Africa.
Helene Henriksson has been named the new Head of Customer Unit Egypt, succeeding Isil Yalcin, who previously held the role of Head of Customer Unit North East Africa. Henriksson has 25 years of international experience in the communications sector. Since she first joined Ericsson's Swedish headquarters in 1993, Henriksson has held several different positions within the company - spanning Europe, the US and Asia.
The company also announced Mathias Johansson as the Head of Customer Unit East Africa covering Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia. Johansson has over 18 years of international experience in business consulting, product management, business development and sales.
Petter Järtby has been named Ericsson's Head of Global Customer Unit Etisalat. Järtby brings his broad managerial experience, having held various leadership positions since he joined Ericsson in 1996, to his new role. Over the last 20 years he has held various positions in the company including Vice President and Head of Risk Management, Vice President and Head of Strategic Business Investments, and Vice President and Head of Business Operations in Data Networks amongst others.
