Smart shopping app launched in UAE
MallMate enables shoppers to find and locate malls, brands, and deals across the country

MallMate, a new smart shopping mobile app, has been launched in the UAE.

Through an interactive map and route planner, the app enables shoppers to find and locate malls, brands, and deals across the country.

It also entails a "Love List" that allow users to save their favourite brands so that the app can share recommendations of stores and deals when users are visiting a mall.

In addition, the app permits shoppers to share their findings and preferences with friends across a digital platform.

According to its CEO, Jaideep Dhanoa, MallMate has was created to enhance shoppers' in-mall experiences by combining information from mall onto a single platform.

"The UAE, and in particular Dubai, is renowned as a global shopping destination. Furthermore, the UAE boasts one of the highest smartphone penetrations in the world, yet we find that consumers continue to use offline methods to discover, locate and shop at stores, especially inside malls, which is where the true value of MallMate lies," said Dhanoa.

MallMate is available for both iOS and Android devices. It currently covers almost 50 malls in the UAE and operates in six cities including Honk Kong and Singapore.
