Tech giant Apple will offer art workshops at its newly opened Mall of the Emirates store this month, starting January 19.

The workshops will teach people to sketch, draw, and take pictures with iPhones and iPads.

Titled "Sketch, Draw, and Paint with iPad" and "Shoot More Artistic Photos with iPhone," both workshops were created for all artistic levels.

"Sketch, Draw, and Paint" will use iPads to teach goers basic techniques for sketching, drawing and painting, while "Shoot More Artistic Photos" will use iPhones to teach photographers different techniques and accessories for better pictures.

These will include using long exposure for light trails, using Time-lapse to show progression, or getting up close with nature using a macro lens.

The classes are part of Apple's "Start Something New" campaign, which will see the brand's UAE stores decorated with pictures created by 11 international artists using Apple products.

The artists' works are also showcased on Apple.com. Alongside each piece is a background on how it was created and which tools it required.

The artists' galleries are meant to provide customers with inspiration to create their own projects using Apple products.

The workshops will take place on January 19, 21, and 28.
