The Nexthink solution has enabled WRM to reduce costs and improve service delivery, says Al Muzayen.

The Western Region Municipality of Abu Dhabi has announced that it has deployed IT management solutions from Nexthink to improve the efficiency of its IT capabilities.

The WRM has rolled out Nexthink to six separate administrative locations, to allow it to monitor IT performance and to take a more proactive response in attending to technical issues.

Shadi Nabil Al Muzayen, Head of the Operations and Technology Section, WRM said: "With Nexthink's real-time IT analytics, governments can radically transform their operations and implement governance to better serve the economy. This essential visibility provided from an employee, end-user perspective enables our IT team to better respond to performance issues - thus reducing costs, optimizing our resources and improving service delivery."

The Municipality also reports that it has gained significant cost savings from the deployment of Nexthink solutions.

Irene Corpuz, Head of the IT Security Section, WRM said: "We are able to enhance our IT security through Nexthink's improved visibility. With just a few clicks we are able to quickly investigate incidents and proactively troubleshoot issues. Such intelligence helps us not only to secure our infrastructure but also boost productivity."

Ahmed Seleem, regional manager, Nexthink added: "Nexthink's real-time analytics enables organisations to do more with less - enabling IT departments to connect, communicate and collaborate to achieve their goals and optimize IT security, operations, support and workplace transformation projects. We are extremely proud to work with WRM's IT Department and help them meet their objectives while lowering their IT costs significantly."
