Dubai Smart Government signs deal for smart payments
New service from Quisk Middle East will enable mobile payments for government services
Dubai Smart Government (DSG) has signed a new deal to enable smart payments via mobile phones.
DSG has announced a strategic partnership with Quisk Middle East, to provide a payment service which will allow users to pay by direct debit from personal bank accounts using their mobile numbers and a PIN code.
The service is intended for individual and corporate retail customers and will be available to customers of banks that have also signed up for the service. The service will be enabled to include payment for government sector transactions in the near future.
This smart channel enables customers to complete instant payments without the need to provide bank details or use credit cards, cheques or cash. Customers can now create pre-payment accounts to be topped up with amounts at the customer's discretion to benefit from this smart payment service by accessing these accounts through the customer's mobile number and PIN code.
