First Open Source summit lined up for 2016
Dubai to host first of its kind conference and awards focusing on open source technologies
DVCOM Technology, a regional distributor has announced it will host the first Open Source Summit (OSS) to be held on 27th January 2016.
According to DVCOM, the OSS 2016, is an all-day event, which will see experts share insights on open sources solutions and how the market can accelerate the adoption of thes solutions. In addition, the company said an awards ceremony focusing on the open source technology sector will also be held in , will be held as part of the conference.
The first of its kind in the region, the OSS 2016 is an initiative to increase awareness and answer some unanswered questions and reveal some key facts about the open source technologies ranging from open source operating systems to solutions to hardware.
