Quantum Global hails Bakutel participation a success
Mobile devices vendor plans to appoint partners in Azerbaijan
Quantum Global, the UAE-based brand for mobile devices has hailed its recent participation at the 21st Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and IT Exhibition Bakutel 2015 a success.
The event this year saw over 200 companies from the IT, telecoms and service providers segment participate at the exhibition.
In mobility segment, Quantum Global showcased its 4G and Octa-Core smartphones, dual OS tablets and Intel processor powered tablets.
Quantum stated that the company's participation was a success and as a result, it has embarked on a partner recruitment drive, as part of a broader plan to extend its geographical and business reach in the Middle East, Africa (MEA) and CIS.
The move to appoint channel partners and distributors, follows positive feedback from partners that visited Quantum's stand during Bakutel 2015.
Quantum said during the show, it met with potential partners that serve the IT and telecoms sector in Azerbaijan. The company said it is impressed with the impact its products have had this year in the Middle East market especially after launching its Titano smartphone array.
Faraz Ali Khan, marketing manager, Quantum Global, said: "Azerbaijan continues to improve its position in the global ICT rankings and we are impressed that this time it ranked 67th on the index of ICT development."
Khan added that the company is delighted to see the Quantum brand gaining traction in Eastern Europe. "Our participation at Bakutel Exhibition and Conference 2015 in was an eye opener," he said. "We are enthralled with the impact our products have had this year in the Middle East market especially after launching the Titano smartphone array."
Khan added that the company's plan to appoint partners will help Quantum to broaden its reach in MEA as well as the CIS market, and contribute to developing the channel in this important geography.
He added that the company is also in the process of rolling out the Quantum Authorised Service Provider (QASP) programme to partners who will help it to provide comprehensive after-sales support to end user customers. Khan said: "Quantum wants to have partners that are well trained and capable of providing post-sales services for all the products that will be sold in Azerbaijan.
He explained that the process of recruiting partners has already started with the company already discussing modalities of how partners will work with Quantum. "We are hoping to conclude deals in the first quarter in 2016," he remarked
The latest partner recruitment drive caps a year that has seen the Dubai-based mobile devices vendor appoint distribution partners in East and West Africa.
Earlier this, the company also partnered with India-based Beltron Green Energy Telecom Limited in a joint venture that has seen it start delivering IT products and solutions to the Government of Bihar State.
The exhibition features stands by leading ICT companies, mobile operators, communications operators and distributors of world-known brands.
