Avaya touts Midmarket Select Programme

Vendor’s programme provides a select number of midmarket partners in the region with a ‘full stack’ solution

Following the launch of the Midmarket Select Programme, Avaya has revealed that qualified midmarket partners from the Middle East have been picked to offer a complete enterprise-class business communications solution through bundled offerings.

Although full details of how the programme and bundles will be rolled out are still being hammered out for the global growth markets theatre, Avaya stated that a few partners from the Middle East have already joined the Midmarket Select Programme.

The business communications software provider has created a series of select engagement packages for the programme, each of which includes a "full stack" set of the company's solutions.

Avaya said the offerings include a complete solution for unified communications (UC), contact centre solutions, video, networking, mobility and professional services.

The bundles, which are based on the existing Avaya IP Office Platform, are only available to Avaya Connect channel partners who meet a series of training, expertise, business plan and growth objectives, according to the company.

"To stay competitive, midsize businesses need the functionality of enterprise-class communications, but built to accommodate the budget and resource requirements of the midmarket," said Steve Biondi, global channel chief at Avaya. "The Avaya Select Engagement packages are purpose-built to enable midsize businesses to quickly move beyond these challenges by providing unmatched value, phenomenal pricing, and streamlined, simplified deployment on a proven platform that leapfrogs the competition."

Biondi said so far, Avaya has signed channel partners in the United States, Canada, Europe and Middle East to the programme. "We are encouraged by the fact that some partners from the region are among the first pool of solution providers that want to take our solutions to the midmarket," he said. "This is not only proof of the commitment Avaya has to the region, but demonstrates the willingness of our channel partners to take their businesses to new heights."

Biondi said detail information on how the initiative will be rolled out here will be communicated to partners early in 2016.
