Jumeirah Partners with Google to create virtual tour of Burj Al Arab
Jumeirah Inside built on 360-degree video and photography, accessible through group's website
Jumeirah Group has collaborated with Google to launch what the luxury hotel company calls Jumeirah Inside, a virtual platform that allows users to digitally explore the Burj Al Arab hotel.
The platform provides digital access to Burj Al Arab hotel, with 360-degree video, 3D sound, virtual interactions and tips on hotspots. It also allows users to make hotel bookings. According to the hotel group, Jumeirah Inside is a hotel industry-first. It is accessible through the group's website.

Just as we aim to exceed our guests' expectations whenever they visit our luxury hotels around the world, so is our aim to give an unforgettably rich, immersive online experience in advance of their arrival. This is a world first for the hospitality sector. Jumeirah Inside has been initiated for us by Google's dedicated creative team," said Ross McAuley, group vice president of Brand, Digital and Loyalty, Jumeirah Group.
"The platform works across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, in five languages, offering a film-focused exploration of the world's most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. And in so doing it connects that remarkable property back to Jumeirah Group's portfolio of 22 other luxury hotels, our ‘stay different' brand promise and the outstanding service guests can expect when they walk through the door of any Jumeirah hotel."
Through the virtual tour, users can uncover new information about the hotel, and explore the atrium through 360-degree video. Other experiences include a dive into the Talise Spa infinity pool, a stroll through the hotel's Royal Suite, and views of Dubai from the property's helipad.
According to Ivan Jakovljevic, Google's head of Travel & Finance, Middle East and North Africa, the partnership with Jumeirah Group represents the hotel brand adopting the latest digital technologies.
