Chinese company unveils packed agenda for 35th GITEX
Huawei has revealed a packed agenda for this year’s GITEX Technology Week, outlining a series of key technology portfolio developments, partner discussion sessions and industry forums.
As technology trends such as cloud computing, big data and IoT continue to spur adoption across vertical enterprise sectors in the Middle East, Huawei is using GITEX as a platform to showcase its new range of ICT solutions, which it believes will help accelerate industry digital transformation – creating new value and extended benefits for organisations.
According to Huawei, society is bridging the digital divide at a rapid pace through the adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT).
This topic will form a central focus at the technology exhibition for the ICT vendor as it reinforces its support for the development of IoT by highlighting its connected infrastructure and mobile broadband technology expertise.
“The boundaries of the Internet of Things are quickly expanding and our world is transforming with the development of smart and safe city technology,” said Charles Yang, President of Huawei Middle East.
“Within the Middle East cities are already becoming more intelligent and connected, changing the way that its citizens and enterprises interact. This year at GITEX, Huawei will be focusing on the power of the Internet of Things and highlighting the endless possibilities of creating open, flexible and pervasive technology.
“During GITEX 2015, we also look forward to further strengthening our relationship with top regulators, channel partners, service providers and customers from around the globe as technology innovations continue to help drive businesses’ bottom lines.”
