Whitton: We have invested considerably in the Gulf region.

Kodak Alaris will this year showcase a range of artificial intelligence software and scanners used by businesses and government agencies to manage and process information more efficiently. This will include IBML, cloud and browser-based software capture and the new i4000 Series scanners, designed to process documents faster than ever before.

"Kodak Alaris is committed to helping our customers improve their document capture and achieve better business results" said David Whitton, Kodak Alaris' regional sales director for the Middle East and Africa.

"We have invested considerably in the Gulf region, opening dedicated service centres in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khamis Mushait - providing fast local support throughout the country for organisations using both Kodak-branded as well as third party scanners."

The new i4000 Series is described as ideal for busy office environments, service bureaus, business process outsourcers (BPOs), corporate and government mailrooms.

One happy Kodak partner is InfoFort. "Working with Kodak Alaris has facilitated many successful projects for InfoFort; their solutions have helped us increase productivity through their proactive support and efficient processes," said Wissam Achmar, country manager KSA and Upper Gulf, InfoFort.
