Bitdefender to demo updated GravityZone at GITEX
Cyber-sec firm will present enterprise-oriented solution to delegates
Bitdefender will this year showcase its recently-updated enterprise-oriented security solution known as GravityZone. The Romanian security solution company says GravityZone is packed with new features and an unprecedented level of versatility, efficiency and support.
The new features included in this year’s version of GravityZone are the new on-premise and cloud-based protection for Microsoft Exchange 2013, a three-second immune response, fine-tuning of permissions and exceptions for the full array of devices including Windows portable, IEEE 1284.4, IEEE 1394, imaging, USB, modem, CD-ROM devices and more, as well as SCSI and Raid controllers, storage volumes, network adapters and more.
“GravityZone was already at the forefront of the security industry, as has been proven in the latest testing,” said Bitdefender Chief Security Strategist Catalin Cosoi. “We have now taken that several steps further with the New GravityZone and we are excitedly awaiting the impact this has on the security industry and, mainly, on the security of enterprises everywhere.”
From a CIO perspective, GravityZone has proven its effectiveness in virtualised environments, being able to accommodate up to 17% more virtual machines on the same physical server, the company claims, minimising the data centre footprint and increasing the ROI for hardware acquisition.
