Unified communications specialist Avaya will bring its hi-tech engagement solutions to GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2015 and demonstrate their real-world applications at its stand.

Avaya’s communications solutions are aimed at enabling organisations to transform the way they interact, both with customers and internally, within their teams. The solutions are built on the company’s fabric-networking technology, Avaya SDN-Fx.

Nidal Abou-Ltaif, senior vice president, EMEA and APAC, Avaya, said: “GITEX is an unparalleled technology showcase, and we participate each year for the opportunity to showcase our best and also learn from other innovators.

“Avaya’s technology innovation is primarily with our customers’ success in mind, and through our deep and wide engagements with the government and private sectors in the region and beyond, we have developed a keen understanding of what various sectors seek as competitive differentiators in their technology investment. The clear preference is for a way to make their engagement smoother and richer, and this is where Avaya’s engagement solutions come to the fore.”

Avaya is co-ordinating with a number of customers to bring a snapshot of their solution to the Avaya stand. With communication as the core of Avaya’s offering, the company will showcase a number of solutions around their engagement platform, including elements from unified communications, the mid-market solution range, digital branch solutions, and the Internet of Things.

Avaya will also be featuring its newly launched Engagement Development Platform, a portfolio of solutions that will help accelerate the development of communications-enabled applications. The portfolio includes the Avaya Engagement Development Platform, Avaya Snap-in modules, and the AvayaLive Collaboratory.
