Hardware giant Dell has announced it will concentrate on end-to-end solutions, including its software offerings, when it comes to GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2015, in its first channel-led attendance at the trade show.

In a statement, the company said the solutions on show were designed to “help customers of all sizes integrate, optimise, and automate their infrastructure, applications, and IT service delivery and management”.

Dell also said it would be announcing some key product launches during GITEX this year, which overlaps with Dell World, the company’s annual showcase event that brings together its technology and “business professionals who are crafting a vision for the future of their enterprise”.

This year Dell’s GITEX participation will also be targeting the growth of its channel engagement. For the first time ever, the company said, the Dell stand will be led by its partners, with Dell taking a supporting role.

“In this very important platform Dell aims to also showcase their local talent and presence through their channel network,” the company says.

“GITEX provides a hotbed of exploring the possibilities [associated] with technology, through interactions with peers, global vendors, and local partners,” says Shams Hasan, Enterprise Product Manager, Middle East, Dell Middle East. “Often times you’ll see customers who are on the fence on key business technology agenda items and/or decisions, come to a solid conclusion within GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK; if not a decision, definitely a solid game-plan as to how to reach one.

“This really is what GITEX has come to be: a platform to make action possible. Dell remains strongly committed to making action possible and [giving] our customers the power to do more.”
