The Arabic language is now available through the PS4 and online versions of PS Store in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Lebanon.

Some of the region's Arabic-speaking PlayStation 4 users will be able to access the PlayStation Store using their native language, Sony Network Entertainment Europe announced today.

The Arabic language is now available through the PS4 and online versions of PS Store in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Lebanon.

Sony said that users would be able to update their language settings through "a simple, quick, straightforward process".

On PS4 consoles, users should select [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/Account Management] > [Account Information] > [Language]; then enter their password, select Arabic from the drop-down menu, and select [Confirm]; then, select [Confirm] again in Arabic.

Web users should go to the PS Store site, sign in using their PlayStationNetwork ID and click on the Online ID at the top of the page; then choose [Account Settings]; next, they should click on [Account] > [Account Details] and under [Identity] select [Edit]; finally, select Arabic as the language and save changes.
