Dubai's du introduces Managed Broadband Services for enterprises

Du has introduced Managed Broadband Services to its portfolio of managed services, which it said now provides best-of-breed products and solutions for enterprise businesses.
The new offering provides enterprise-grade internet services with end-to-end management, du said. The telecoms operator explained that, with these services, enterprises would get a symmetric internet connection, which supports faster uploads and is suitable for businesses that are involved in hosting large online infrastructures on-premise, or simply businesses that routinely send large files online.
"At du, we understand that a premium internet service is pivotal to your business's ability to stay connected, which is why our Managed Broadband Solutions provide you with complete visibility into site performance," said Hany Fahmy Aly, executive vice president, Enterprise Business, du.
"These solutions offer so much more than just a standard internet connection; they offer peace of mind that can truly add value to your business by allowing you to concentrate on providing the best service to your customer, while we provide you with reliable end-to-end management through our broadband solutions."
Du's Managed Broadband Services include the standard features of the company's broadband packages, but customers will also gain access to a swathe of managed services. Du said it would offer customers proactive monitoring, management and control, advanced reporting, service level agreements, and around-the-clock end-to-end support.
The managed services offerings are priced based on speed, bandwidth and contract term, du said. Customers can also opt for ‘premium' SLAs, which include more aggressive commitments, additional IP addresses and a premium managed router device.
"We introduced Managed Broadband solutions to deal with mission critical needs for the ICT services of our enterprise customer. We believe in providing them with full transparency of how their services have performed over time, in order to guarantee their continuous operation," said Aly.
