Security solutions vendor appoints Gateworx as in-country distributor for Egypt

Mobasseri says the market for best of the breed security solutions is gaining momentum in Egypt.

Regional VAD Emt Distribution, has announced the appointment of Egypt-based IT distributor Gateworx as the in-country distributor for the complete suite of the vendor's products.

Under the accord, Gateworx will supply partners in Egypt with DenyAll's vulnerability management, web application firewall, web access management and security management solutions.

DenyAll is a European software vendor that specialises in next generation application security solutions.

Mohamed Haroon, managing director, Gateworx, said: "With the Egyptian economy back on the bounce, we are expecting the investments in IT to grow at a faster pace. Information security stays a key concern and DenyAll provides a robust security platform for businesses in the country. Our main focus initially will be to enhance the DenyAll's presence among channel partners across Egypt."
