The device is available with either the Intel Celeron Dual-Core processor N2087 or else the Quad-Core Celeron J1900

Giada Technology today unveiled a compact fanless mini PC system, dubbed the F110D, which the company said is suitable for use in digital signage fields.

The device is available with either the Intel Celeron dual-core processor N2087 or else the quad-core Celeron J1900. Giada said that both processors provide strong data processing performance while keeping power consumption in check. The PC also features Intel HD graphics, capable of displaying digital signage in 1080p output.

The F110D also contains Giada's patented JAHC (Jehe Active Hardware Control) unmanned technology, which provides secure operation and maintenance. This hardware/software feature allows for power automation and supports RTC wake-up, auto power on after AC loss, and infra-red remote control before the operating system is switched on.

The device comes with a slim design in a metal casing, with dimensions of 190mm x 149mm x 26mm. An optional VESA Mount fixing mechanism is also available, meaning the F110D can be attached to the back of a monitor or TV set.

The F110D also sports dual-gigabit LAN for high-speed LAN connections with 1Gb/s data transfer rate, ideal for seamless internet connections for audio and video streaming, Giada said.

The Intel Core processors feature a DirectX 11 GPU core, which is compatible with a wide range of today's 3D games and supports the majority of data rendering technologies, Giada said. The F110D is also equipped with a Wi-Fi module to support 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth network standards. Storage, meanwhile, comes courtesy of a 500GB SATA II hard drive.
